In the words of my favorite female MC LIL Kim " Shall I proceed??"...."Yes Indeed!"...... Well Happy Birthday to ME! I am officially 25. That's right I am a quarter of a century old! And it feels AMAZING.
As I've grown, my birthday's have become a great time for reflection, especially self-reflection, recapping the previous year, and making new goals. With each birthday comes new and exciting challenges and experiences; that ultimately mold me. What better way to celebrate my 25th birthday than to share 25 things I've learned through the years.
1.Self-love & self-care are the best love.
2. Don't dumb yourself down or dim your light, to make others feel better.
3. Confidence is Key. Love the body that you are in. Own the room when you walk in.
4.Like Kendrick said "be humble"..
5.Explore the world around you. Try new things, Meet new people. Experience different cultures.
6. Keep a passport and use it. Travel the world.
7. Go to concerts and music festivals.
8.Never be afraid to go after the goals you've set, no matter how big or scary.
9. It is not about how you start but how you finish. So finish strong and know the victory is yours.
10. You can have everything you want in life. Just do the work.Think Positive. Trust God. & don't let anyone tell you it's impossible
11..Know your worth and recognize when you are not getting what you deserve.
12. Trust your instinct.
13..Make a bucket list & check off the things on there.
14..Forgiveness is the first step to healing.
15. Don't be afraid to be vocal and stand for what you believe,
16. You are in control of how you react to situations.
17. Love people. Love like you've never been hurt.
18. Spend quality time with your friends and family.
19. Change is good. Recognize the areas of your life that needs attention and improve.
20.The more you evolve, the more you become the person you dreamed you would be.
21.Cooking is good for the soul
22. Let love happen.
23, A relationship with God is more important than religion.
24.Give back.Serve people.
25..Bulid a legacy. Be a boss.
